The Info and Service Center (ISC) offers information and services for international and German students, doctoral candidates and visiting researchers. Its staff is glad assist you with queries and to provide general information on a broad range of topics:

We consider the successful integration of international students and academics one of the most important factors for a rewarding stay at RWTH and in Germany. Thus we strive to provide international applicants, students and researchers with basic and essential information about living in Aachen and your stay at RWTH Aachen University. Our services for newly arrived international students are meant to facilitate your start at our university and to help you adapt to university life in Aachen. We are prepared to offer you concrete assistance from the beginning until the end of your stay and give answers to your questions and queries.

The ISC also coordinates the leisure and event programme Leisure & Pleasure which offers trips around Aachen and environs as well as special events, parties and get-togetherswhich are to contribute to the integration of international researchers and their families into the university community. The Humboldt Haus is the international student centre of RWTH Aachen University, a lively place for German and international students to meet and have fun. The Humboldt Haus offers a colourful programme of events which provide the opportunity to take part in intercultural activities at the university.

For students and academics interested in going abroad, the ISC provides information about possibilities for study and research worldwide, international exchange programs and university partnerships. We offer comprehensive information material, field reports and will refer you to our counsellors for professional advice.
